Description
Size: 5/8 inch
Material: Sterling silver
This is a gorgeous delicate First Holy Communion medal featuring a chalice and radiant host surrounded by a grapevine and stalks of wheat to symbolize the bread and wine that become the body and blood of Christ during the eucharist.
The engraving on the back shows the initials of the original medal’s first owner. It’s a lovely reminder of Catholic devotion that has been passed down through the years.
This medal was cast in sterling silver from an antique medal in my collection so it shows all the wear of the original piece. It will come with a matching holy card in an organza gift bag, so it’s ready to give as a present to someone else or yourself.
