This lovely medal shows Daniel walking in the lion’s den. He is looking up towards heaven while a lion peacefully walks with him.
As a young man Daniel was taken into captivity in Babylon along with the rest of the Israelite nation. While there he earned the favor of the king, interpreting dreams for him and becoming a prominent person at court. When he refused to participate in the worship of the Babylonians idols, King Nebuchadnezzar had him thrown into the lions den. The Lord miraculously protected Daniel from being eaten, and the king rejoiced when he released Daniel from his captivity the next morning.
The medal was cast in sterling silver from an antique medal in the Rosa Mystica Collection so it shows all the beauty and history of the original piece. It comes with a matching holy card in an organza gift bag, ready for gift-giving, and was made in the USA.
