Description
Size: about 7/8 x 1 1/8 inch
Material: Sterling silver
This beautiful medal features Pope St Pius X with the Roman emperor St Constantine and his mother, St Helen. Constantine was the first Roman emperor to embrace the Christian faith thanks to the prayers of his mother, St Helen. The reverse of the medal shows St Constantine on the Milvian Bridge before the battle of Verona. This is where he had a vision of the cross with the motto “IN HOC SIGNO VINCES” (By this sign you shall conquer).
It was cast in sterling silver in the USA from an antique medal in the Rosa Mystica Collection so it shows all the beauty and history of the original piece. It comes with a matching holy card in an organza gift bag, and ready for gift-giving.
